So there’s a new kid on the block. Cassper Nyovest. He is
something right? He started from the bottom now he’s up there. So he has been
famous for almost three years now, well known for his great South African music
and jaw dropping dance moves ekse.
Cassper took the rapping route after his late brother Khotso Phoolo. He has always been known as an active student at school that wanted to participate on everything that happened on stage. Now he mingles with the big guns of the South African music industry.
Believe when they say a man grows and transforms.
Cassper, a man from a hopeless place to a man that took five awards at the Metro’s.
He did not stop amazing the country. Everyone was talking about him. His the
new trend on social media and the talk of the country for shizzle . The man has
worked with legends such as HHP, Tuks Senganga, Young Slugs, Jabba, etc. No
wonder he’s this good, he has been with the best of the best.
This guy is so young, hip and happening. From what I have
seen, he is not a too trying dush-bag like some of his peers in the music
industry. He just does his thing well and gets positive attention from the fans
and or the public. I love him I have to say. I’m a person that does not go
around searching for songs, I want songs to find me instead, they must be the
ones attracting me to them and Cassper Nyovest did that, claps once!
People we should thank the social media for enabling each
and every one of us to have access on such juicy interesting information and
news we want about our celebs. It allows us to receive so much more than we
have hoped for even. The power role of social media in this digital age is amazing
at our finger tips everyday! , all day!
Let’s respect this source of information because it is
also owned by us and controlled by us. It’s a lovely platform that makes the world
one small village for us to interact and all.

ReplyDeleteOh well...I receive your complement, thank you Noluthando. Yeah Cassper really inspires the youth in many different ways. He made something out of himself
DeleteI confess that I didn't not know him well but I really love his song "Phumakim". I also thank you for this post about him because it's very inspiring. I think we can all achieve what we want in life if we don't give up.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely. When you self driven and hungry for achievements, you wake up and make things happen. I also love 'Phumakimi' as well. It is just a great song that is not like the rest that we used to.
DeleteSocial media has really worked in his favour ,as he is a twitter holic...Though I feel that he needs a Public relation team behind him as some of the things he tweets about are really not necessary especially about his love life....
ReplyDeleteZenzile the point you raising is really something most musicians including Cassper should look at with a close eye. Yes I agree with that 100%. But other than that, he has a lot of positivism in him.
DeleteSocial Media has really made an impact in our lives as we are constantly updated about what is happening in the Country or Globaly....Social media has truely put Cassper Nyovest on the map.The night of the Metro awards i certainly became a twitter-holic as i was updating every second about Cassper Nyovest.....No doubt Cassper Has done it for himself....
ReplyDeleteOh Sam it's as if you reading my mind. Cassper at the Metro awards really made me proud. I always look up to people who work hard for their daily bread and stand out from the crowd. On the other hand social media helps him a lot by making his music and name trend and go viral
DeleteI'm really not into South African Hip-Pop ,but he really is something . Who would have thought that he could archive this much in such a short period of time....
ReplyDeleteOh yes Kgothatso. A few years back no one knew him even. Although he was still a musician but he was under wraps and came out with something so good to listen to. I salute Cassper!
